Security & governance

Institutional standards for programmable capital.

Security controls reduce risk; they do not eliminate it. AltVaults does not guarantee performance, liquidity, capital preservation or regulatory outcomes.

Security-by-design

Access, change and integration are designed as controls from the first configuration, not added after a launch.

Role-based permissions

Managers, advisers, investors, administrators and providers see different slices of the same record.

Audit trails

Term changes, eligibility decisions and cash events are attributable.

Data encryption

Data is protected in transit and at rest according to the deployment’s security design. Encryption reduces exposure; it is not a warranty.

Service-provider controls

Verification, custody, payments and administration remain with the parties contracted to perform them.

Smart-contract security

Where a programmable register is used, code is reviewed before it is relied upon. A review is not a guarantee against defects.

Operational resilience

The operating record should survive a failed integration, a delayed file or a provider outage without inventing state.

Incident management

A defined path to detect, contain, tell the parties who must know, and restore. Details follow the contracted service, not a marketing claim.

Governance workflows

Who may change a spec, who may approve a transfer, and what requires a second person.

Risk disclosures

Alternative investments can lose capital and can be impossible to exit on demand. Technology does not change that.

AltVaults provides technology, workflow, data, analytics and partner-orchestration infrastructure. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment, financial-promotion, brokerage, custody, fund-management, payment, exchange, transfer-agency, depositary, trustee or other regulated services unless expressly stated and delivered through an appropriately authorised entity.
