DeFi disclosures
General
AltVaults DeFi provides software, data and informational tools. It does not provide investment advice, recommendations, brokerage, custody, fund management or guaranteed returns.
Loss
Digital assets and DeFi protocols are high risk. You may lose some or all of the assets you deploy.
Performance
Historical returns, displayed APY, token incentives, TVL and other data do not predict future performance.
Endorsement
Availability of a vault, protocol or asset does not constitute endorsement, approval or a solicitation.
Transactions
On-chain transactions are generally irreversible. Verify contract addresses, token approvals and transaction details before signing.
Data
Data may be delayed, incomplete, estimated or obtained from third parties. Users should independently verify all information.
Smart contracts
Code can be wrong, upgraded or administered by keys you do not control.
Stablecoins
A peg can break. A vault full of a stablecoin is still exposed to the issuer and the peg.
Liquidity
Withdrawal mechanics can be instant, delayed, queued or asynchronous. The label is the product.
Impermanent loss
Providing liquidity can leave you with more of the asset that fell.
Liquidation
Collateral can be sold by rule. That loss is realised.
Oracles
A wrong price can liquidate solvent positions or block insolvent ones.
Bridges
A bridged representation is a different asset until you have verified the route.
Curators
Discretion is power. A passport is not a licence.
Incentives
Token emissions are not organic yield.
Wallets
A signature can approve a contract to spend tokens. Read the allowance.
Regulation and tax
Access rules and tax treatment depend on jurisdiction. This site does not determine either.
Private markets are different
A tokenised private-credit wrapper and an altcoin yield vault do not carry equivalent risk, liquidity, legal rights or regulatory treatment.
